in English: Digital accessibility of PDF files – Kasper Ostrowski, Aarhus University, Denmark:
- During the presentation, the speaker will share his experiences of the challenging journey towards accessibility. Specific issues that may arise when working on digital accessibility will be discussed.
- No specialist equipment is required.
in Polish: Accessible PDF files – Katarzyna Pełka-Smętek, Łukasz Maj, Lublin University of Technology:
- During the workshop, the authors will demonstrate how to prepare a PDF file that complies with accessibility guidelines and is compatible with assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers). Topics covered will include the differences between visual formatting and the invisible structure of a document, as well as editing errors in MS Word and Excel that affect the accessibility of publications.
- No specialist equipment is required (though you are welcome to bring a laptop).
